The former Vaud farm was converted in 1990 into a workshop and classroom by Gerhard S. Schürch and Verena Magdalena Gerber.
The unique atmosphere of the house is due to the unusual design of the transformation (BauArt.ch), to the juxtaposition of the old and the new, to the careful selection and use of natural materials.
The house owes its name to two ridge roof tiles, representing two ravens, symbols of the enchantment of life.
The Maison des Corbeaux is situated on the edge of the village of Chabrey, which has 270 inhabitants, on the last Vaud territory on the south shore of Lake Neuchâtel and directly on the Geneva-Romanshorn cycling route, close to a forest, And a 20-minute walk from the lakeside and its natural reserve "La Grande Cariçaie".
