In 2019, we will once again have the pleasure of supporting the work of two Fribourg artists, Bertrand Kurzo and Maëlle Schaller, at the Murten Light Festival. Their playful and interactive creations, based on the legend of the Vully Rolling Pallet, will be exhibited in the Sonderegger cellar at Hauptgasse in Murten (Arteplage n°8).
Description of the Arteplage "Post Tenebras Lux", by Michel Simonet:
Like an intruder, he sits on the molasse of the Mont Vully. This imposing block of granite has been looking north since the dawn of time and hides a terrible secret. Where did it come from? Dragged by a missing glacier or thrown by Gargantua's slingshot taking revenge on the devil who stole his meal? Let all the light be shed on this!
