The Swiss vegetable land
This circular hike takes you through secluded woods, quaint villages and quiet country lanes.
From the train station in Kerzers, follow the signs to Jerisbergmühle. Then, take the path along the Bibera brook (beaver), which will accompany you to Gempenach. You will then be immersed in the calm and nature. A first stop along the way is required to discover the 18th century Ferenbalm Farmers' Museum. In Gempenach, follow the signposted path and head west to Murtenholz, before enjoying a refreshing break in the forest. Then turn in the direction of Buchslen. In Ried, continue your way via Agriswil before joining a signposted path to go back to Kerzers/Chiètres.
