From Lake Murten to Lake Neuchâtel

During this walk without any difference in height, you will be able to observe the fauna inhabiting the Broye and admire the boats sailing between the lakes Murten and Neuchâtel.

From Sugiez station, the walk takes you to the Broye Canal in 10 minutes, cross the bridge and take the path on the left bank. The calm and tranquility accompany you on the path along the canal to its end to enjoy the view of Lake Neuchâtel. A visit to the BirdLife nature centre is a must, perhaps you will even have the opportunity to observe the emblematic Kingfisher. After a coffee or a meal at Auberge La Sauge, you can also reach your starting point, Sugiez, by boat.

Tip: Experience nature up close in the BirdLife nature centre of La Sauge and visit the fascinating temporary exhibitions.
