From Cressier station, the birthplace of the writer Gonzague de Reynold, follow the Liebistorf signposted path and join the Bibera stream. Follow the beaver trail to the next intersection with a yellow Murten marker and head towards Galmguet to the beautiful village of Salvenach, whose urban landscape is listed in the Swiss Inventory of Sites in Need of Protection (ISOS). Passing through Wilerholz and Crauxwald, you reach the beautiful medieval town of Murten, where it is recommended to end the day under the arcades while enjoying a piece of the famous cream cake.
